This correspondence started in 1926 due to Boris Pasternak, who drew attention of the well-known German poet Rilke to creative works of the Russian poetess Tsvetaeva, who lived in malignant conditions of emigration in France. Rilke lived in Switzerland in a deserted small castle Muzot — this romance has started not long before his death. He?s never seen Marina — only in poems and letters, which became a heavenly bridge for them.
